1. Eat Complex Carbs

Avoid the following foods: Processed foods, fast food, pasta, white bread, alcohol, chocolate, pastries, and…all that other tasty junk!
2. Eat Protein
What kinds of protein? Well you can go with the following: Protein powder, egg whites, chicken, turkey, lean beef, sushi, fish, shrimp, beans(these aren’t a complete protein).
3. Eat Healthy Fats
Healthy fats would be: Almonds, cashews, peanuts, peacans and all other nuts, all natural peanut butter and flax seed oil.
Now that you know what you should be eating, eat it in this macronutrient breakdown: 45% carbs, 25% protein, 20% fat
Make sure that you’re also eating above maintenance by 500 calories at least and you should be good to go. So here’s an example for you, if you weight 150 pounds and you’re looking to bulk, you’re first of all going to have to find out what 500 calories over your maintenance is, so use the following calculation:
Bodyweight(150) x 15 = 2250 + 500(calories over maintenance) = 2,750 calories
That breaks down further to:
1237.5 calories from carbs
687.5 calories from protein
550 calories from fat
That’s pretty much all you have to do.
