Want to gain weight quickly?  Well, it’s a really tricky thing to gain weight quick because you have to be careful that most of those gains are going to wind up being muscle rather than fat.  Now if you’re new to weight training, chances are you will have more of that turn to muscle, you will enjoy the newbie gain stage, but as time goes on, it becomes more difficult to ensure it’s mostly muscle.  So with that in mind, here are some tips for ya:

1.    Never Eat Carbs On Their Own

If you want to gain weight quickly, make sure you never have a meal that is only carbs on it’s own.  If you ever do that, chances are it’s all going to wind up becoming fat, you need to at the very least balance it out with some protein.  If you ensure that you do this for all of your meals, you will have a much better chance of putting on muscle.

2.    Use Weight Gain Shakes

Most people struggle to get in enough solid food to ensure that they grow, for these people, weight gain shakes are the solution.  You can take 1 in the morning and one directly after a workout.  Depending on your weight gain goals, these can be as low as 300 calories each or as high as 1000 calories each.  Be careful though, your bulk will wind up as an epic fail if you try to down too many calories each day.

3.     Train Like CRAZY

Push yourself to the limit when you train if you want all those calories to go to the right places.  If you don’t struggle to walk out of the gym on squat day, you are NOT going hard enough!
