If you’re looking for some weight gain products, there really are only a few key ones you need to make use of to see results, you don’t need to go supplement crazy if you don’t want to. But I’m basically going to list off your choices in their order of importance if you’re looking to build muscle:

1. Protein Powder/Weight Gain Powder

One of the best weight gain products you can get yourself is protein powder. If you want to take it a step further and make it a full meal replacement, pick up some weight gain powder. There’s no easier way of getting your calories in for the day than drinking them. Be warned, some of these can give you major gas!

2. Creatine

Creatine helps you to push out more reps in your weight training sessions which leads to more muscle breakdown and thus bigger muscles. It does this by shuttling creatine phosphate to the muscles which allows them to hold more water. When your muscle’s cells are in this super-hydrated state, it creates an environment for more glycogen synthesis, increased protein synthesis and thus more muscle growth. Creatine also helps your muscles repair quicker.

3. Multivitamin

You would think out of allt he weight gain products I would have listed this a bit higher, but in my experience, it’s not as important as long as you have a solid diet down. That’s not to say this won’t help though, you should definitely get your daily multivitamin in.

4. N.O. Supplements

One of the most important things to get a good workout in the gym is a good mind/body connection. With the proper focus you can get more out of your workout and that’s what N.O. supplements give you. Not only do they give focus, but they give you more endurance as well. I always come out of the gym feeling like I had an amazing workout after taking some NO.

Of course all the weight gain products in the world will do nothing for you unless you have a solid workout regimin and diet down. To get that area handled I’d strongly recommend you check out this site, it’s helped me to put on 31 pounds over a period of 96 days: Click this link for more info.

If you find yourself on the lookout for muscle building books I’ve seen my share of them and can share a few nuggets or two with you from them. A lot of the books you find in the stores are pretty much pushing supplements and they are in fact sponsored by supplement companies, so you gotta keep that in mind when you’re reading them, they can present some biased info. With that in mind, here are a few tips I’ve gained from them over the years:

1. Don’t Lift For Ego

In thumbing through a few muscle building books, one thing which will often come up is this tidbit, don’t lift for ego. That means don’t lift weights which are too heavy for you to execute with perfect form. If you have to jerk your entire body to complete a rep or move in an erratic way, you’re not going to get the full benefit of the exercise and may in fact end up training the wrong muscle groups. If you want to see some good gains, cut the weight down to a manageable level where the motion can be executed with perfect form.

2. Steel Cut Oats, Better Than Oatmeal!

If you’re eating instant oats, there is a better alternative that is lower in the GI index and that’s steel cut oats! They have a more nutty taste and chewy texture and they break down a lot slower in your body. The only thing is it takes a lot longer to make, like 20-30 minutes! It’s best to make it in batches, but man oh man, the taste of this stuff totally owns regular instant oatmeal…BADLY! You gotta try it.

3. Give Yourself A Cheat Meal Once A Week

Another thing you find in muscle building books is that it’s OK to let loose every now and then. If you train too hard for too long, you’re bound to get a little crazy, it’s OK to quell that and indulge in your favorite foods now and then. People have different metabolisms though so it helps to know your body’s limits. Some can get away with a cheat DAY, where they eat garbage all day, but most should go for just a cheat meal. It may be possible for you to get away with 2 cheat meals as well, you’ve got to figure out how your body reacts through trial and error.

Now if you’re looking for muscle building books so you can pick up a solid regimen and diet, there are very few out there that are going to give you stellar results. Vince’s program on the other hand is killer and if you can take the pain, you’ll break a lot of your plateaus with his help: Click here for more info.

Looking into weight training books? Well, allow me to give you a crash course on some of the best muscle building exercises you could possibly be doing right now to save you some time. If you’re looking to get huge, and fast, you DEFINITELY need these core exercises:

Deadlifts – As you will see in most weight training books, deadlifts are one of the most intensive full body exercises you could perform, they also are one of the best at building muscle. Deadlifts primarily help to build a thick and muscular back.

Squats – Another powerhouse, squats involve the whole body also but will mainly work on building up some solid oak tree legs. They may not be fun, and yes they will hurt big time, but no other leg exercise compares.

Bench Press – I’m sure you know of this one, either on a flat bench or an incline, make sure this is a part of your regimen.

Military Press – Great for building up boulder like shoulders.

Bicep Curls – Your biceps will get worked out indirectly through a lot of the previous exercises, but if you are going to go with a bicep exercise, this’ll do.

Tricep Pulldowns – For working out your triceps this is a great exercise, although it requires a machine. If you don’t have a machine to use, try skull crushers.

Ab Crunches – And for the abs of course, we’ve got the basic ab crunch. Try weighted ab crunches for a more bulky ab look. If you don’t like that look and instead want that Brad Pitt from Fight Club look, don’t ever add weights, once they’re all bulky it’s hard to bring them back down!

That about covers it for your whole body, but if you’re looking for weight training books that go into a lot more detail on exercises and diet I can tell you what I’ve been using to get some impressive gains, the No-Nonsense Muscle Building program. I picked it up last year and in 3 months time I was able to add on 30 pounds to my out of shape frame It’s a BRUTAL program, but if you can hang, this blows most other weight training books out of the water. Check it out by clicking on this link.

You know there are many bodybuilding books out there, the only problem is seldom do you find one which has a routine or diet laid out for you which will build you the massive body you’ve always wanted. In my time rummaging through all the books though, I’ve found a few good points spread out amongst them, here are a few of them which should help you out:

1. Be Consistent

One of the most important nugget you can find from any of the bodybuilding books out there is to learn the importance of being consistent. If you cannot consistently go to the gym 3 times a week and consistently eat the proper foods to allow your body to grow, you will get NOWHERE!

Usually this is a matter of “How bad do you really want it?”. If you want it bad enough, you WILL find a way to make it happen. It is never OK to have excuses like this: “Oh, it’s already late in the day, I’ll just go to the gym tomorrow, besides, my arms haven’t fully healed anyways”. If you want the physique of your dreams, you have to be willing to pay for it in blood sweat and tears. You can’t get something for nothing.

2. Habit Is Greater Than Willpower

Another tip I’ve found in bodybuilding books is not to rely on willpower to see you through your workouts and diet, instead, setup a good habit and all the hard work is essentially done for you. Once you’ve established a pattern of eating a healthy 6 meals a day and hitting the gym 3 days a week, doing it over and over again is 10x easier. The hard part is getting the initial momentum going. Just stay strong through that momentum building phase and you can accomplish a lot more than you’d think possible.

This is all about the right mentality though. If you’re looking for bodybuilding books to find out how you can sculpt out a muscular body you’re going to need to choose carefully. One of the best books out there that I’d highly recommend shows you how to add 10 pounds of muscle in 2 weeks time with through their system. It’s unlike anything you’ve seen before, check it out for yourself: click this link for more info.

If you’re out there looking for muscle building products, there are quite a lot to choose from, it’s hard to figure out what’s legit and is going to actually work for you and what is just a bunch of BS. I’ve gone through my fair share of products over the last 13 years and the truth is, nothing beats a solid weight training regimine and a good diet. However there are a few additions you’re going to want to use to make things easier and help you break plateaus:

1. Creatine

One of the best muscle building products out there, this stuff just plain works. It makes you retain more water in your muscles and it translates to you being able to pump out a few more reps while in the gym. When you come off of creatine cycles you will loose that creatine pump, but the gained muscle will remain. This is an essential product for any serious bodybuilder

2. Protein Powder

Man, I should have listed this first! Lol….Well, it can be hard to get in 5-6 solid meals all the time, which is why protein supplementation can be useful. It can even be ideal in situations like post workout, where you can combine the shake with some dextrose to re-fill your muscle glycogen and get your body out of a catabolic state.

3. Multivitamins

You need to make sure you’ve got all your vitamins, this is a must and goes without saying. Pick up a quality multivitamin from a supplement store. I wouldn’t go with Centrum or some brand made for sedentary people, be sure you pick one up especially made for the bodybuilder.

These are just a couple of muscle building products you’ll want in your arsenal, the last one of course is a weight lifting diet and training regimine which can mean the difference between packing on 5 pounds of muscle vs 15 pounds. If you’re not seeing the results you want, check this out and learn how to pack on 10 solid pounds of muscle in only 2 weeks time, it’s a killer program: Click this link for more info.
