It is never OK to have excuses like this: “Oh, it’s already late in the day, I’ll just go to the gym tomorrow, besides, my arms haven’t fully healed anyways”. If you want the physique of your dreams, you have to be willing to pay for it in blood sweat and tears. You can’t get something for nothing.
2. Habit Is Greater Than Willpower
Another tip I’ve found in bodybuilding books is not to rely on willpower to see you through your workouts and diet, instead, setup a good habit and all the hard work is essentially done for you. Once you’ve established a pattern of eating a healthy 6 meals a day and hitting the gym 3 days a week, doing it over and over again is 10x easier. The hard part is getting the initial momentum going. Just stay strong through that momentum building phase and you can accomplish a lot more than you’d think possible.
